But no one’s showing up. It’s not that there isn’t enough advertisement—you’ve placed flyers everywhere, put multiple ads in the newspaper, and even put a few ads online. Surely someone would have seen your ad?

But the fact is that most other forms of advertisement just don’t cut it. Sure there are millions of people browsing the internet at any one given second, but what’s the chance of them seeing your one little ad? Or even finding it in the newspaper? After the first twenty ads, they’ve got to be exhausted. They might not even make it to yours. As for flyers, no one keeps them. They might take a gander at it and then crumple it up, but after that, they don’t want to see the little piece of paper. It became an annoyance the second it was placed on their porch, car, etc.

For sale banners make advertising easy. You reach a much larger customer base than you would using just ads and flyers.

It might seem a bit extreme at first. Wouldn’t they be expensive? Why would having a banner make any difference? After all, they threw away the flyers…

Banners also don’t have to be huge. Sure, you could buy a huge one, but if you’re looking for something neat and simple, you can get a banner no bigger than your welcome mat. Then, customize it however you’d like. Do you want a picture of your house on the for sale banner? That can be done. Would you like the address in super fancy font? That can be done as well. Simply put, for sale banners are just simpler.
