Accessories For A Hot Tub Enhance Your Experience

By

There are a wide variety of hot tub accessories that you can acquire for your hot tub or spa. You can get items like a spa umbrella that stands to the side of your spa to keep the direct sun off you when in your spa. You can even get some furniture that you can set around the spa or hot tub area so other guests can socialize in the spa area especially if it is an in ground spa with a lot of pretty landscaping surrounding it.

Spa Covers And Spa Blankets:

Spa covers are meant to keep the heat inside the spa inside area and keep debris out of the spa or hot tub. Because any spa cover will eventually absorb moisture and get heavier one addition you may wish to add to any hot tub covers is a cover lifter. These are available for any spa and are different types. Another form of accessory for spa is a form of spa blanket which lies directly under the spa cover and also helps keep the water from evaporating. This blanket can also stop the spa cover from getting waterlogged and will help maintain the life of the spa cover because it keeps the spa chemicals from attacking the spa cover everyday.

Ease Of Entry And Use:

Some forms of spas or hot tubs sit fairly close to the ground but some of them are a challenge to gain entry. Not all spas you purchase automatically come with sets for ease of entry into the spa. Instead you would have to life each leg over the spa sides to enter the spa. That is why spa manufacturers created free standing steps. These may be wood to match the hot tub sides or they many be molded plastic and also contain a storage area under the actual steps for your spa chemicals and accessories. Another accessory that is handy is a spa pillow with a hanging counter balance weight so you can use it anywhere along the spa edge.

Enhancing The Spa Experience:

This type of accessory might be in the form of beads that dissolve in the water. If your spa came with an aromatherapy dispenser you would put the beads into the dispenser and they dissolve as you relax so you are enveloped with nice smells. If the spa doesn’t have a dispenser just place them directly in the water. This accessory also comes in a bottle and in oil form which you add a few drops of when you enter the spa. There is a wide choice of smells like lilac, Gardena, mint, vanilla and so on.

Other Accessories:

There are many types of spa covers in a variety of colors. Also hot tub covers come in different weights too. You can get towel racks or racks that you screw onto the spa to hold robes. You can find a hot tub caddy to hold accessories. You can even get a covering that slips over the whole spa for winter protection.

Nice suggestions Jack. I wish I could afford a spa, it would help me relax when I'm stressed. Good work.
